About Us
The APO Food Bank is a Non-Profit 501C3 organization dedicated to the gathering and distribution of food for those in need in the Beacon Hill and greater south Seattle area.
Fa’amomoi Masaniai saw a need for food and fellowship in his community in 2011 and started the American Polynesian Organization (APO). He decided to be the bridge and foster relationships with many companies to gain resources that would allow his Non-Profit Organization to provide food, household items, scholarships, and, gifts of encouragement to the community.
Our Mission
APO is a Non-Profit Organization with a mission driven by a spirit of compassion, caring, and collaboration. We believe in providing nutritious meals as well as transportation and supportive services that are language accessible and culturally appropriate to promote and enhance the physical, social, and spiritual health of low-income American Polynesian seniors and underserved families in the Seattle & King County areas.
